This answer was rated:

Ok I'l give this a shot, the car is a 1998 Suzuki sidekick 2x4 with a 1.6 16 v and 5 speed transmission. The problem is when the car is first started and until it worms up it shifts hard and grinds into gear once warm it shifts fine. Work already done, new bearings and synchros. The problem remains and has gotten worse, now it is starting to jump out of gear while driving.

Hi,how are you?How old is the clutch and pressure plate?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

Hi, the clutch were replaced at the same time as bearings and synchros.

approximately 5 mounts ago.

Ok,the issue that you are describing is consistent with worn shift forks that is causing your issue,do you know if this was inspected at the time the work was performed?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

Yes I checked them against a Mitchel book for where, but could they be sprung.

Yes that is what your problem is consistent with and you have already eliminated the bearings and snchros.
