Hi, i was reading your question and wasnt sure if you were still looking for help?

ksengage31 :

just a thought that occurs to me, most vehicles will NOT run the computers emissions monitor self tests if the engine coolant does not reach full normal temperature. Id like to suggest you check to make sure the thermostat is in good working order, not stuck open or closed. and that the engine is reaching full operating temp, warming up in the proper amount of time.

nope that didnt help it wont let emission plug in and acess computer to read i ave drove the 200 to 300 miles plenty of water not over heating city and high way it just wont complete all of it checks and work normal and didnt have problem intil i had a new heater core put in and i pulled all my fuses out of the fuse box to look for a bad fuse to get a cigerette lighter to work and all this started

Hello, I am Randall. I have reviewed your question and working on it now.

Actually in some cases you have to follow the exact drive cycle to get the PCM relearned.

In the case with this vehicle, there are many steps you need to perform in order. You may even have to 2 x.

You have to start with this. If this does not work, then something very well could have happened to the internal adaptive learning portion of the PCM. It can be reprogrammed at GM dealer or replaced but be advised, even replace would need the update reprogram

If you wish to try the drive cycles, click HERE to upload ,pdf file.

Otherwise the PCm is located under hood on right side

ok this better than last i got now what is the other computer or module under the dash area right side i thought this was it and pulled the dash out and how does the payout work do i choose a payment i think or do have to pay full amount ??????
Sorry for delay/ Had to step out, I cant remember 100% not being there but, I researched and.. the module was lcoated in 2 different spots, One under hood on right side OR one under dash mounted on/near the HVAC case, If none under hood, then yes,, you have version where its mounted under dash.. I then have to send you question over to customer service about paymenst etc, as we do not handle this. Sorry
