Heater blower..defrost..Replace heater control unit and same...motors

This answer was rated:

Heater blower is stuck on defrost. Replace heater control unit and same. deflector motors good. Are there fuses that controls the deflectors motors?

no fuses for them.

If you apply 12v source to them, do they work and change air flow to the other vents?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

dismounted the motors and tried them on a 12 v. source.

Did not applied 12 v. to the motors when installed.

ok, we need to try it with them installed. If they dont change the air flow direction when 12v is applied, then the door is either broken or binding.

If they do move the door to change the air flow direction, then you have a short in the wiring harness from the actuator motor to the control panel
