I think this is my last. I would like to know if head cylinder using lifter on valve does have a gap or clearance?

If yes, how to set this gap or clearance? Because i used to use feeler gauge for older engine, but how to do it on head cylinder with lifter on valve now.
Hi Valve clearance is set at
In ......18mm
exh. ..30mm

Set engine to 1st cylinder TDC then adjust
1st cylinder In and exh tappets
2nd cylinder In tappet
3rd cyl exh tappet

Then turn engine to TDC 4th cylinder and adjust
4th cylinder exh and in
3rd in
2nd exh

Adjustment MUST be done with a cold engine

You know, my problem is that I don't have any tappet. I only have 3 components:
camshaft, lifter, and valve.

So where to put gauge check?
Sadly don't have a diagram to show you, but if you can take a photo of the valve train i could show you .
