Running fine..Driving down..down road..road rpms dropped

Resolved Question:

Engine was running fine. Driving down road rpm's dropped. No power and then died. Fuel tank full. Seemed like fuel filter maybe. Replaced fuel filter on the firewall and air filter. Although it now runs at an idle it has no power, won't go over 2000 rpm, just spits and sputters if you give it more gas.

Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I'm here to help get your problem resolved. Ask follow up questions, thanks. This usually means the cataytic converter is clogged. Remove front oxygen sensor and install a pressure guage which you can barrow from parts store. Pressure should not go over a few psi while reving engine, if so the catalytic converter is clogged. Let me know if you have questions, thanks.
