AAAj disk brakes on my 58 plymouth, new master cylnder..proportioning

I have just installed a set of AAAj disk brakes on my 58 plymouth, new master cylnder 76 used proporting unit, the front disks drag badly, could thes be the used proportioning unit? if so where can I get a new one?

Yes pedal gets hard, front tens to lockl up not power brakes

I would try an adjustable proportioning valve so you can tune it to the car. You can get one from a speed shop or online from places like Speedway or Summit racing.
