Hello! Welcome to justanswer!

Did you overheat the transmission?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
no

How long was it stuck and did the engine overheat?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
it was only stuck for 5minutes the engin did not overheat
Expert:  Anthony replied 6 years ago.
So when it was in drive, you hit the gas and it reved up like it was in neutral? Then you pulled it out and it ran fine?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
yes
Expert:  Anthony replied 6 years ago.
The trans overheated for sure. It happened before you were stuck and during. Right away you should have the fluid flushed and if you want to go on the beach like you were earlier, add a bigger trans cooler.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I have a transmision gage on the dash that showed the transmision was not overheated
Expert:  Anthony replied 6 years ago.
How hot did it get and are you sure none of the wheels would turn?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
the gage was half way the wheels would not turn in any gear

Ok, on the road if you hit 4 loc and make a turn, does it bind and have a hard time turning?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

no it turns easy

Expert:  Anthony replied 6 years ago.
Ok, if thats the case, your problem is inside the transfer case. With it in 4 loc, it should be real hard to turn and the wheels chirp and such.
