What should I tell the shop that is telling me both need to be replaced at the same time and for 799.50 out the door
Expert:  brownjeff replied 6 years ago.
They most likely are pricing parts from the dealer or if a dealer this would explain the price. You can get after market parts at like AutoZone for a fraction of the price. I would ask for an estimate for after market parts or shop around as their estimate is too high
