Plymouth..an oil change at Jiffy Lube.Today, low oil light..leaks

Resolved Question:

Dear sage Plymouth mechanic,
Yesterday my niece got an oil change at Jiffy Lube.
Today, low oil light comes on at idle, goes off when higher engine RPM begins.
Oil level at full, gold to light brown color, no burnt smell, no drips or leaks seen.
Mileage is 116,000.
Did see a crack in the S-shaped rubber hose that I think is the rebreather hose from the air intake box back to the engine. In fact, it's off altogether and I can't keep it on without readjusting some screw clamps.
Cause is most likely --
The rebreather hose being off?
Bad filter?
Oil pump going out?
Thanks.

The breather hose will not be the issue. First do another oil change and make sure toss use good quality oil. It may be a bad filter. If that does not resolve it, then change the oil pressure sending unit. The last and least likely issue is the oil pump or a clogged pick up screen in the pan.
