1996 geo prism will not start. Battery fully charged, however, no activity when key is turned to start. Is this indicative of alternator, cylinoid switch....

Most likely this is your starter, the solenoid is on the starter. You can remove it and the parts store will test it for free.

Disconnect the battery. Disconnect the wires from the starter and remove the attaching bolts to remove the starter. It's not to bad to get to.
