2000 volkswagen jetta: with a manual transmission..removing

Customer Question

I have a 2000 volkswagon jetta 2.0 with a manual transmission. I need to relace the front wheel bearings and I'm using a hub shark. I'm down to removing the hub and I'm stuck at this point. I do not have an impact wrench and I've been trying to use a breaker bar but it isn't working, any suggestions?

You're just trying to get the hub out of the bearing, or the bearing out of the knuckle?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Both, but right now I'm trying to get the hub out of the bearing so I can have access to the snapring that holds the bearing in the steering knuckle

Ok, and the tool you're using is the Hubshark by Old Forge?
