Wipers..Ive checked fuse and relays, these are OK..12V

Customer Question

I have a 2007 Freelander 2 HSE. The front wipers suddenly stopped working, I've checked fuse and relays, these are OK. The motor runs on the bench when 12V applied, no power feed seems to be getting to the motor, What else should I look at?

Neal : As you have ruled out the motor, fuses and relays it Is most certainly the switch. You will need to replace the switch of course to be 100% sure.
JACUSTOMER-40h4rhy7- :

which switch, do you mean the stork on the steering coloumn

Neal : Yes
JACUSTOMER-40h4rhy7- :

rear wiper still works and this is part of the same mechansim isnt it?

Neal : The actual parts of the swith that control front and rear are separate.
