Customer Question

Just replaced the passenger seat of my 2005 MINI Cooper S due to faulty weight sensor that disabled the passenger side airbag. Now we get an error code [4,7,0,72] for the airbag. ANyone familiar with this? Is it possibly just that something needs to be reset after the seat changeout? (The seat is VIN-specific, so correct for '05 model with incorporated weight senser)

Normally the seat mats need to be enabled after replacement. This is done with the factory scan tool. Not sure which aftermarket scan tools are capable of enabling the mat.
