You need to use a serpentine belt tool available for rental at most parts suppliers,such as A-zone or Oreilly's.

I've done that and it doesn't fit.

I need more info from you on this problem, is it possible the tensioner is damaged where you can't use the tool. In the past when confronted with a similar situation I have used a long pry bar and gently apply pressure on the tensioner releasing the pressure on the belt and had an assistant remove the belt, pay careful attention to the routing of the belt before you remove it.

I just figured it out. There's not a nut on the tensionor pully, rather a socket hole in the middle of the cover that the serpentine belt tool fits into. Thanks anyway.
