Where is the sensor you replaced located, and what does it look like?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
tranfer case 3 wire plug round with a rod
That is not the output speed sensor. That is the vehicle speed sensor. The output speed sensor is a transmission sensor. It is located on the transmission case, on the drivers side towards the back. It will have a two wire connector on it, and it screws in to the transmission case, to remove it, you unscrew it, like removing a screw. You need to replace THIS sensor. You may lose some transmission fluid when you remove the sensor, so have a couple of quarts handy to top off the transmission.
