Ok!

First thing you need to do is start the truck and make sure the reduced power isn't on.

Immediately open the hood and jiggle the connector going to the throttle body. You need to pull, tug and stretch the wiring harness to make sure that you're not having a problem with it. If your reduced engine power light comes on, you will need to replace the connector to the throttle body.

Next, jiggle the connector on the gas pedal in the same way. If the reduced engine power light comes on, you will need to replace the connector to the pedal position sensor.

If neither of these prove successful, you will need to check the ground connection for the throttle module. It is located near the transmission bell housing just below the oil pressure switch. You need to remove, clean, and check that the terminal is making a good, tight connection to the engine block.

If all of these prove unsuccessful, you will need to replace the throttle body.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
