Welcome to just Answer, An intake air leak code is usually caused by 1 of 4 things , an actual leak at the intake manifold gasket , a split in one of the turbo boost pressure pipes or intercooler or a faulty air mass meter and last a sticking EGR valve.

This code is calculated by measuring the air mass through the air mass meter and at the other end by the turbo boost pressure sensor so a leak in between will flag the code, the EGR is a bridge between the two so boost pressure can escape here too.

I hope this helps, best regards, Vauxdoc.
