JOHN :

No, Most likely you have a bad brake booster or lost vacuum to it.

Customer:

what if I checked that by depressing the brake pedal and starting the engine and it went down further?

JOHN :

A way to check it is by with it connected the pedal should feel normal, when you disconnect it the pedal will feel hard. If there is vacuum to it and feels no different when you do that, then the booster is defective.

Customer:

ok also I wanted to see if it had any thing to do with an automatic car starter?

JOHN :

No the starter is not part of that system.

Customer:

ok , but, i am a girl that dont know what you mean by connected and disconnected

JOHN :

Are you able to check the vaccuum at the booster?
