oldsmobile Intrigue: 1999, 3.5 control..ignition switch

Customer Question

I have an oldsmobile Intrigue GL, 1999, 3.5 engine. I submitted a question about the cruise control but never got a viable answer. I replaced the ignition switch and it corrected the cruise. Then, the AC and cruise both quit working (LED screen on AC was black). I replace the ignition switch again and it worked again. Now, the AC & cruise hesitate coming on when you start the car. This is as much as 5 minutes in the morning. Once on, all accessories work fine. What could cause this hesitation?

I would definitely think it could be a short in the circuit, or a control issue by the Computer, definitely check connections and grounds for any signs of wear.

Is the cruise control and AC on the same curcuit?
