03 Lincoln LS: 3.9L V8..motorcraft parts..oem v. aftermarket

Resolved Question:

'03 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8:

1) What is the approximate actual time to change out plugs and COPs - not the 'book time'.

2) Also, what is a reasonable charge to pay for this service?

3) I intend to use Motorcraft parts but was wondering if there is a reputable aftermarket brand with comparable quality. I've been reading so many different opinions about OEM v. Aftermarket and quite frankly I'm confused :) And I trust your collective opinions... Thank You.

Realistically this is done in about 1.5 hours, but really does depend on the experience of doing them. The labor to do this job would be about $150. We have used many aftermarket ones at our shop and they have been just fine, so I would just use a name brand aftermarket (like napa echlin or standard ignition. The coils run about $55-$65 each and the plugs are about $15-$18 each. Let me know if I can help further.
