If you were having problems with the car and it wasnt starting easily then that could have caused unburned fuel to go into the oil. Also low compression on a cylinder could cause it, a problem causing the engine to get too much fuel such as coolant temp sensor or leaking fuel pressure regulator. If a cylinder that does not get good spark allowing fuel to not burn and go into oil. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
