Hello and thanks for using Just Answer!

I will do my best to help you.

Do your interior lights (dome lights) turn off when the doors are closed?

no interior light stays on dims very slightly

When you replaced the "door buttons" as you call them, do they screw into the door jam and have 1 pin on them? I think this system uses a ground signal to work the interior lights, that ground is provided by the door button. When the door is open it grounds the circuit allowing current to flow. If the button is shorted out internally or the wire is chafed and shorting to ground then this can cause the problem your having. Focus on the drivers side door as this is the only one that can turn the buzzer on. The wire should be OFL to ground when ohms are measured.
