My car heater will not heat while idling..driveway

This answer was rated:

My car heater will not heat while idling. It does fine when you are actually driving but I can't warm my car in the driveway. It actually hasn't made it so cold inside the car that frost has formed inside the windows. I thought maybe it was the blower relay or fuse. Can you help?

hello, there are several causes for this, the most common is just being low on engine coolant. check your coolant level and make sure it isnt low, if its then you likely have a leak somewhere that youll need to track down and repair.

if the coolant level is fine then there may be a restriction in the heater core, limiting the amount of coolant flow through the core.
