2001 Hyundai Tiburon: try starting sound..battery checked

Resolved Question:

try starting car, and just hear a click sound everytime ignition is turned, had battery checked and battery is good, suspect bad starter? Car is a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon

If you can hear the clicking this is a indication that the circuit is working like it should and the problem is the starter or battery. Since you had the battery checked this narrows it down to the starter. To be sure you can use a voltmeter or testlight and check for voltage on the large wire, it should have battery voltage at all times, and the small wire should have battery voltage when key is in crank position.
