I have a 95 Lincoln the steering wheel mves too much and I don't feel like I can control the steering.

Sounds like you need to have your front end inspected as you most likely have a blown idler or pitman arm. The balljoints and tie rods may also be worn out as well. The pitman arm lists for $77.00and the idler lists for $113.00. The labor to replace them is about 2-2.5 hours.
