2006 mazda 3: wont start..electrical systems work..about 15 minutes

Intermiiently, my 2006 mazda 3 won't start. all electrical systems work, then after about 15 minutes it starts.

The spark or fuel may not be right when it's doing that, so you need to check for a strong blue spark at the plugs while cranking it. Also, try using some starting fluid in the throttle body to see if it tries to start. If it tries, then we have a fuel problem.

engine doesn't turn over. starter doesn't engage

Either a security problem or an intermittently bad ignition switch. Those are the only 2 items that would do that. Your security system is the most likely cause needing re- programming the module and/or keys by the dealer The key reader can also be a problem if so equipped.
