trunk open either with the interior button or the key fob

Customer Question

I cannot pop the trunk open either with the interior button or the key fob? Could it be that I need to replace the fuse? If so, where would that be located? Thanks for your help

Okay, thanks for that information.

Possible causes for a malfunction in the trunk lid opener system are a faulty trunk lid opener relay and/or faulty keyless control module. Assuming that all other door locks work properly with the key fob, lets first inspect the relay. The trunk lid opener relay is pictured below.

I appreciate your help. After doing some reading of the owner's manual, I discovered that the cancel switch in the glove box was set to the "off" position. Again, thanks for your help.
