This can vary according to the car. What kind of car do you have?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.

I'm considering buying a Subaru Legacy wagon 4 cyl 2.2L

I would out the timing belt job around $1000.00, including a new serpentine belt. The oil leak can vary from cheap to crazy depending on where it is leaking.
