Prizm: geo..blower in the in dash control module..assembly

Resolved Question:

I have a 1990 Geo Prizm. The blower switch broke that is in the in dash control module. Can this be replaced or do I need to replace the whole in dash assembly?

On a car this old there would be no harm in finding the wires that go to the blower switch and adapting a separate switch. Of course it will no longer look factory, but that is something you must weigh in your decision. I am sure that this dash module, if available, is costly.
