Hello jwestbury- The bulbs are easy to replace on your subaru. On the right side, you need to remove the air intahe tube to access the bulb.

On both sides remove the rubber cap, unplug the harness by pulling it away from the bulb, and remove the retaining spring by squeezing it together and puilling out. Then the bulb comes out. graphicgraphic
