2001 Kia Optima: 000 miles..many miles..Korean cars so I am skeptical

Resolved Question:

I have a 2001 Kia Optima that I am looking at to possibly purchase. It has 148,000 miles on it and my question is simply, How many miles should this automobile still have on it? I don't know much about Korean cars so I am skeptical.

Tough question but I'll try.

If this car has had steady service and maintenance done and it looks clean it may have 20, 30, thousand or more left. If there are no service records, be careful. Although at that mileage anything can set in regardless.

I hope if you buy it you get it for a very reasonable price. Check online with the Kelly blue book for the value.
