2008 STS: Cadillac..V8..The tires are Micheline (factory)..vibration

This answer was rated:

I have a Cadillac 2008 STS-4, V8 with 7,600 miles. The tires are Micheline (factory) that came with the car. The shift knob has a vibration as as you increase the speed, the vibration increases. The front-right wheel is slightly off balance. Is it normal to have the vibration in the shift knob?                                  Thank You

Hello Dgibson,

Yes,when you have a wheel that is not true & balance is incorrect the vibration will travel through body parts all over.I would not be concerned, when you get the new wheel & have the tire/wheel assembly balanced your shift knob vibration will be gone.
