Have a 1999 hyundai elantra and drivers door wont open from inside nor outside told the latch is siezed how do i get it open?

hello i have never seen a drivers door latch freeze up like you are describing if i had tgo diagnos it with out actually seeing it id say thee problem is in the lock mechanism locate the rod in the door hooked to the lock and try to move it you should be able to move it and feel a detent when its unlocked i will try to locate apicture of it for further diagnosing if this helps you please click accept thanks

the lock mechanisim works fine locks and unlocks not hesitation no sticking and have already tried the pull bar through the pad...key works too just wont release...the actual door have tried it all including liquid wrench.....and still no avail??????locks and unlocks not sure how to release

ok un fourteneatly u will more than likely have to use force if the latch is stuck then a good jolt can often get stuck things unstuck id place a small piece of wood wrapped in a towel on the door by the latch on the out side of the door and hit it firmly a few times taking care not to dent door make sure you are holding the handle open at the same time also try pushing in on te door from the out side while trying to open it i know it souds crazy but it works fromn time to time i dont thin its seized but is bent and not releasing from the striker
