Tribute: FWD..V6..threads in the oil pan are partially stripped...bolt

Resolved Question:

I have a 2002 FWD Tribute, 3.0 L V6. The threads in the oil pan are partially stripped. What size threads is on the pan bolt and what are my options for repair?

Not sure of thread but there are a couple of options one is a to retap the threads with a rethreader another is a tappered oversized plug, most parts stores can get u a oversized oil drain plug that is just a bit larger than the the on u have. I dont recommend the rubber replacements they leak..I hope ive been helpful........ plz accept..........Thank you
