2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT: V6..wheels, Im..brake pads..pulling

Resolved Question:

I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT, 3.4L V6. When the slows there is a grinding sound coming from the wheels, I'm asuming its the brake pads but when I turn the wheel, say pulling into a drive way or turning around, there is a deep creeking noise. what could it be?

Does it make the noise everytime you turn or just on sharp turns?

That sounds like the power steering drive belt is loose or worn, or you have a bad wheel bearing.

If you feel like the noise is actually coming from the wheel/tires then it's going to be a bad wheel bearing.

However you you hear the noise coming from under the hood, most likely a bad belt.
