This answer was rated:

Hi we have a 99 merc mystique 6 cyl. Both turn signals don''t work, but have wiper motion and blower action. Husband has looked for fuse, but does not think that''s it. Could it be auxiliary relay for the turn signal? If so, where is it and what does it look like?

Hello and thank you for choosing Just Answer.

Yes your car has a "Trun Signal Flasher" also known as turn signal relay.

Reply to OnlineMechanic's Post: How easy/hard would you say this process is to do for a non-mechanic?
Very easy, if you look at the two plastic pieces that are over the steering column (right after the steering wheel), that is the only thing that need to be removed to get to the relay. It will either be a pull of or held by two screws from the bottom.
