I have a 84 911 that the key broke off in the ignition-got the pieces out and tried the extra key to no avail-wont even turn. How do I remove the lock cylinder?

Dont get me wrong but I have the same manual and although it does show that as a way of removing it.....there are several other ways. Removing the steering wheel, column and trrim is overkill.
