Customer Question

2000 merc. Cougar vacuum hose routing diagram/s I found a hose coming off the transmission, but can''t seem to find where it goes, and I donot hear a vacuum leak. Any ideas where it may go?

That is likely a vent for the transmission, I have looked in my manual and can not find any vacuum hoses going to the transmission and all transmissions have a vent on the top of them.

Reply to high tech's Post: it looks like it also has clip for holding it, on to a stud, but I don't see any, got a clue as to where it goes?

Sorry, I do not know where it attaches but it really is not that important, I would just attach it to where ever is easiest.
