the pontiac dealer recommends goodyear assurance comfort tred.....never impressed with goodyears.....wish it were like shoes, where you could try them on.
There are so many tires out there. I always say that tires are like motor oils, and different brands of automobiles. Most have a plain preference to specific brands. So suggesting tires at times can be a little touchy. That being said, I am analytical to the core. So when I apply this to tires, I choose the Michelin Hydroedge. They have phenomenal traction, and stopping distance. 90,000 mile warranty. they are advertised to last 33,000 Miles Longer than Goodyear Assurance. I am really sold on these tires because they Perform, and Last. They even offer increased fuel efficiency, because of decreased rolling resistance. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it. Good luck and thanks.
