1994 buick regal: starts right..awhile then it stalls and wont start

i have a 1994 buick regal it starts right up drive it for awhile then it stalls and wont start until it cools down ( 30 min. to 1 hr )

yes check engine light is on and been on for a very long time and my low coolant light comes on then goes off but theres plenty in the reserve.   nothing yet

Okay I will need you to pull the codes for me so that I may further assist you.

If this is the diagnostic terminal under your driver side dash then following the instructions on how to pull the engine codes.

1. connect a jumper wire from terminal A to terminal B

2. turn the ignition on but do not start vehicle

3. watch your check engine light and it should begin to flash

4. After code 12 flashes 3 times it will begin to flash any stored codes 3 times each. count flashes like this. flash, pause, flash, flash is 12, flash flash pause flash flash is code 22 and so on. it will flash every code 3 times each. It shows codes from lowest to highest number order.

Once you retrieve these codes please let me know what code numbers you got.

its 3:00 am were im at so icant check tonite any ideas what might be the problem

Just respond with the codes when you get them tomorrow then when i log in I will look at them for you. It could be any number of sensors or inputs to your computer, without knowing the codes we are only guessing.
