Relist: I still need help.
1995 gmc 350. 252,000 miles automatic with 4 speed overdrive. while driving losing power not stalling. can put foot on gas to floor truck does not accelerate rpm's won't go over 2500. pull over shut truck off restart and truck is fine for a few minutes and prob happens again.

Any trouble codes or is the check engine light ever on? Has the engine been tuned up at all (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air and fuel filters, PCV valve)? Have you checked the fuel pressure when this happens (9-13 psi) and is the fuel pump noisy at all (whining excessively)?
