1.Check oil quality. Change the oil if it is suspect. Look under the oil cap for excessive sludging. If there is any history of the oil pressure light illuminating, remove the oil pan, replace the seals and clean if necessary.2. If no faults in the oil circuit are found, check and verify that the static cam timing is correct.3. If no faults are found, replace the Continuous Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) solenoid valve and replace the gasket with an updated part that has a mesh screen on the inlet.4. If the trouble code returns, inspect the CVVT hub (intake cam gear). This should have 2-3 cogs of play in it and not be spring loaded
What are the sympotoms? is there a drivability problem ?
All I know about your car is you ask about a code.
If there is no loss of power I don't think it jumped time, besides it probably would have set other codes if the belt jumped.
I doubt it waited 6 years to start giving you trouble if it came from the factory that way.
