Does it only shake at idle, or while driving also?
Customer: replied 9 years ago.
well at first it was only shaking while idle, but not when i first turned on the car. But then the next day I went to go turn on the car and it was shaking really bad.

There is a part on the engine called an idle air control. Yours is most likely sticking and cannot adjust the idle properly. It is located on the throttle body.graphic

will i need to get this fixed or will it eventually go away??
Expert:  Ted G. replied 9 years ago.
Unfortunately it will probably get worse and start making the car stall out.
Customer: replied 9 years ago.
so is this considered a tune up or do I have to take it into my auto mechanic?
Expert:  Ted G. replied 9 years ago.
I would take it to a mechanic, it is a fairly inexpensive repair.
