Voyager: plymouth..van..rods..motor to the actual wiper mechanism

Resolved Question:

Does the 1987 Plymouth Voyager van have different size plastics bushings (inner/outer) for the windsheild wiper arms(under the cowling)? On the one that has both half round rods that goes from the motor to the actual wiper mechanism it seems like the needs to be two bushings and the inside one looks like it needs to be bigger.

Are you refering to these bushings?

Yes, the one on the driver's side that both rods go to. At the left pivot (where both arms go the shorter arm) closest to the body seems to need a bigger bushing.

When they wear down they tend to pop off, i assume thats what you are experiencing.

Unfortunatly that bushing isnt sold separately, it comes with the rod,,,

The assembly is refered to as the wiper transmission linkage.

Might have trouble finding one tho,,,,if you want i can help ya to improvise it,,,just let me know.
