how many volts do you have down at the starter when cranking?
Customer: replied 9 years ago.
have not hooked up voltometer yet. i can get one though.thx. also, when the starter solenoid was changed, the car was jumpstarted, then started fine, then i just lost everything,no interior lights no "door open ding", nothing. im sure wires going to the solenoid are in good shape and are hooked up fine. but there is multiple battery connections, besides just pos+ neg-, so i thought one might be hooked up wrong. but my brother swears when he put the new battery in, he switched evrything over to how it is now.

Did you replace the starter along with the starter solenoid? That could be your problem.

If not, I think it is just a simple connection problem. You may have a bad ground. i would rec to clean and tighten all grounds. At the battery, starter and frame.
