2001 Mitsubishi Mirage: there a sensor for detecting misfire..1.8L

Customer Question

Is there a sensor for detecting misfire on a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage 1.8L engine, and if so where is located?

Greetings! No there is no misfire sensor. The crankshaft position sesnor is what detects the crankshaft slowing down thus telling the computer there is a misfire. But, it sounds like you need a converter.
