Customer Question

I accidentally put transmission fluid in the oil tank. Will it ruin my car?

The detergents in transmission fluid will actually help clean the lubrication system inside the engine.

As long as you didn't put all 5 quarts of transmission fluid in there and try to drive it all around town, everything will be fine.

Change the oil and it should be ok, if there is no noises from the engine.
