1987 Dodge: Shaft..2.0 litre has parted..replacing..timing belt

Customer Question

The Balance Shaft belt on a 1987 Dodge Ram D50 2.0 litre has parted. I plan on replacing the timing belt as well while i have it apart. Does the balance shaft need to be timed, if so how is this done, and how does the tensioner for the balance shat work? I see the timing mark on the cam shaft pulley and the one on the crank for Top Dead Center, i rollled the engine over by hand and aligned those marks, the camshaft mark is facing toward the left and the    crank is at TDC, is this correct? I can not see any kind of markings   on the balance shaft rotateing assembly.
Any photos or diagrahms would be appreciated as well.
