Can you measure the resistance and voltage on the speaker wires when the system is running, and let me know the results?

You can also use a multimeter to check for any shorts in the speaker wiring.

Let me know what you find.

O have a millimeter. Not sure which setti g is for checking reaistance.. last night i went out n it was playing.. but will stop eventually...

Use the Ohm setting to check for resistance.

If it is playing intermittently then there may just be a loose wire or a bad earth somewhere.
