Thank you! I have a Pioneer AVIC-5200NEX that I purchased as an open box deal at Best Buy and it is asking for a password ***** I don't know what to do. Any ideas?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: Pioneer AVIC-5200NEX I bought it a couple of weeks ago at Best Buy
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: since i put it in today. I don't know what troubleshooting to try

IF you bought it from Best Buy as a "Open Box" Sale Item, they are responsible for the working of it, regardless if it says NO warranty
Pioneer does not give out a "work around" Password & since it was a "open box" the chances are that someone changed the Password.
Have Best Buy Service contact Pioneer & they will give the specifics to the Rep to Unlock, then you can put your own Password *****
